From her humble beginnings as the eldest of five in Jamaica to becoming one of Metro Atlanta’s most powerful and purpose-driven women, Rosalee Henry’s story is a testament to the strength of vision, service, and unwavering determination. A teenage mother who discovered early what it meant to care for others, Rosalee’s path wasn’t linear but it was always guided by a deep love for nurturing those in their most vulnerable moments.

Her professional journey began far from the world of maternal health—in banking and later nannying—yet each role prepared her for what would become her life’s mission. In 2012, after becoming a certified postpartum doula, she founded Mothers Helping Hands Atlanta. What started as a personal calling quickly evolved into a thriving agency, now powered by a team of over 20 professionals committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to new parents and infants.

Rosalee’s impact goes far beyond one-on-one caregiving. She recently completed a maternal health program at Morehouse School of Medicine, adding clinical depth to her already vast expertise. Her services have even been spotlighted on national television through a feature on TLC, but it’s not the accolades that drive her—it’s the families, the mothers, and the communities she serves.

Like many trailblazers, Rosalee has encountered challenges rooted in systemic gaps—limited access to mentorship, funding, and resources. As a Black woman, immigrant, and former teen mom, she’s had to carve out her own lane in spaces where people like her were often absent. But those very challenges became fuel for her growth. She scaled her business from the ground up, learned the power of systems and delegation, and today, she not only runs Mothers Helping Hands but also leads Red Rose VA Staffing, a virtual assistant agency serving the maternal and healthcare space.

Mentorship is one of Rosalee’s guiding pillars. Whether training postpartum doulas, speaking at conferences, or consulting with maternal health entrepreneurs, she believes in lifting others as she climbs. Her leadership style is rooted in empathy and empowerment—qualities that were solidified when she realized the power of trusting her team, stepping back, and building systems that work even when she’s not in the room.

Rosalee is a champion for balance—not just in work and life but in how women define success. Her own turning point while caring for her mother during cancer treatment, reminding her that health and joy are non-negotiable. Today, she prioritizes travel, family, therapy, and rest as much as she does service and strategy. She leads by example, showing other women that ambition and self-care can coexist.

Through her growing corporate consulting practice, Rosalee is helping companies better support employees during parental leave, expanding postpartum care into mainstream workplaces. She’s also laying the groundwork for a nonprofit initiative focused on workforce development and postpartum wellness in underserved communities.
